David Geaney
Co-Producer / Choreographer / Dancer
Dingle native, David Geaney, a 5 X World Champion Dancer, is taking the world by storm.
After an illustrious competitive career, amassing numerous major titles including All Ireland, European, All Scotland and Great Britain Championships alongside his five world titles, he has now set his sights on choreographing and performing to audiences worldwide.
In 2011, David took part in and won TG4’s An Jig Gig. In 2012, he went on to win Kerry’s Got Talent, pitting his talents against dancers, singers and musicians alike.

James Devine

James Devine, hailed by the Globe And Mail as “a master of his craft,” is a multi-talented leader in the percussive dance world. Not only is he a 3x World Champion Dancer, he is the world record holder for the “The Fastest Feet in the World” with an astonishing 38 taps in one second.
Possessing a fast and vigorous percussive dance style, his signature tap has been likened to “…manic typewriters…,” “…talking drums…” and “…tap tornado.” Roslyn Sulcas, The New York Times critic has called him “…a delight halfway between Fred Astaire elegance and Savion Glover hunkered-down brilliance.”
From a young age Devine has wowed audiences around the world with his masterful dancing and choreography. He’s starred in popular Irish dance shows Lord of the Dance and GaelForce. He has guest performed with the renowned Cherish The Ladies and The Chieftains on their world tours. He has also appeared on major television shows worldwide including Live with Regis and Kelly in NYC, the Royal Variety Show, London, MTV Italia, Milan, as well as performing live at the Oscar ceremony of the 69th Annual Academy Awards.
As a choreographer, Devine’s work has helped redefine Irish dance as an art form in the modern dance world. In 2007 his starring role in the award-winning multimedia dance production TAPEIRE, led to successive box-office breaking seasons, and 5 star rave reviews for his choreography at the world renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the New Victory Theatre on Broadway.
Fast forward 11 years later and Devine is now focused on producing and taking Irish dance in a new and exciting direction with a brand new take on Irish dance – Velocity.
Recently he won Best Corporate Entertainer at the Event Industry Awards in Dublin, Ireland.
When he is not dancing he is a dedicated strength and conditioning coach to Irish dancers.
AnneMarie Keaney
Dancer
AnneMarie started dancing at the age of four, following in the footsteps of her World Champion brothers, Fergal and Cathal, and her sister Rachel. She danced for the Hession School of Irish Dance in Galway. AnneMarie recently became a qualified TCRG in 2017 and teaches full time with the school.
In addition to winning three back-to-back Connacht titles, AnneMarie has achieved top rankings in all the major international competitions; placing 2nd in the British Nationals, 2nd in the Irish Nationals, 3rd in the European Championships and 5th in the North American Nationals. She has also achieved numerous All Ireland and World medals.
AnneMarie went to college in NUI Galway and majored in IT and Psychology. While studying there, she was also the dance teacher in the university’s dance society. She then went on to complete a masters in Psychology
Moises Mas Garcia
Percussionist
Moisés Mas García is a musician and composer based in Galway. Moises was born in Crevillent, Spain with a severe passion for music.
Moisés is trained in classical music at the Music Conservatory of Elche (Alicante, Spain), and has since followed that up with courses and master classes in Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, France, Ireland & the United Kingdom.
His musical career is split between musical scores (plays, documentaries and film). His most recent being the documentary “As human as I am”, which was crowned winner at the Lake View International Film Festival 2017 (India) and in Our City Film Project (South Africa) for the Best Documentary awards. Moises’ recent short film “Native”, starring Patrick Bergin with Corner Bar Pictures received critical acclaim all around the world, showcasing at the Cannes Film Festival in France, the Dingle International Film Festival 2018 as well as various other high profile film festivals. He also composed for the “Halloween Macnas parade 2017” alongside the renowned Macnas Theatre Company.
His work as a multi-instrumentalist (Saxophone, Santour, Cajon, Darbuka, Congas and much more) has been applauded worldwide. He has collaborated with different art companies and musical projects, such as “Velocity”, alongside 8x World Champion Dancers and World Record Holders for the fastest feet in the world, the “Macnas Theatre Company”, “Celtic Steps”, “Kidding Ensemble Ltd”, “Aindrias de Staic and the Latchikos”, “Bianco Sporco”, & “The Harp, the Accordion and the Ugly”. With his talents recognised and a growing fanbase, the future looks very bright for Moises, who will no doubt have a big career in the film and theatre industry.
Ross Couper
Fiddle Player
Ross Couper is a fiddle player from the world capital of fiddle playing, the Shetland Islands. He comes from an incredibly musical family.
On top of being shortlisted for Album of the Year in the 2017 Scots Trad Awards with guitarist Tom Oakes, Ross was nominated for Instrumentalist of the Year in the 2015 Awards and his explosive fiddle playing lies at the heart of the legendary Peatbog Faeries. He has toured internationally from the age of 16.
He was a founder member of the acclaimed band ‘Bodega’ who toured Europe wide and in the USA numerous times.
Other tours have taken him from Canada to Australia with France, all of Scandinavia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Dubai and others in between. He’s also played shows with bands such as Fiddlers Bid, Manran, Cara Dillon, Nitin Sawhney

Alec Brown
Cellist
Born in Arkansas in the United States, Alec has been a classically trained cellist for the past nineteen years and has performed in many professional settings including the Conway Symphony Orchestra as well as hired string quartets during that time.
Having found a love for Irish music and culture, he moved to Limerick, Ireland to pursue a Master’s degree in Irish traditional music performance on the flute at the University of Limerick in 2010. During his time in Limerick, he has had the opportunity to study under several masters of the Irish flute and to make music with some of the best musicians in the world.
Afterward, he enrolled in the optional second year of this MA degree on the cello in order to learn how to further the role of the cello in Irish traditional music. He is currently completing this
Throughout his years of studying music, Alec has incorporated a number of styles and influences into his cello playing to make him a unique force to be reckoned with on the instrument. He utilises Classical technique mixed with folk styles of cellists Natalie Haas, Rushad Eggleston, Trevor Exter, Ben Sollee and more, as well as drawing from instrumentalists in many other genres to create his unique sound.

Jack is thrilled to be adding to his CV and begin working with the fastest dancers in the World on Velocity in the fall this year adding a new dimension to a culture known worldwide.

Gabriella Wood
Dancer
Gabriella Wood, 26, began Irish dancing at the age of seven in her hometown of Northport, New York with the Petri School, now known as Doherty Petri. During her 15-year competitive dancing career, Gabriella won numerous national and international titles including 11 consecutive Mid-Atlantic Regionals, eight North American Nationals and two World Championships. When Gabriella first won the World Championships in 2005, she was the second youngest female and only the seventh female ever to bring the title home for North America.
In addition to these achievements, she is also one of the few dancers to win all three age brackets of the North American Feis Commission Championships.
She now works full-time in New York City as a Sales and Marketing Manager with The Kagency, where her role offers her vast opportunities to stay involved in the performance industry. One of her favorite and most rewarding events that she has assisted with thus far was the Opening Ceremony fashion show at (Le) Poisson Rouge for New York Fashion Week 2018.
Regardless of her busy schedule, Gabriella always makes sure she continues to dance, whether heading to the studio on her own or performing with professional shows such as Velocity!
Aoife Ni She
Dancer
Aoife Ni She started dancing at the age of six, with the renowned Hession School of Irish Dancing in Galway. From the day she first stepped into dancing class, she immediately fell in love with it and soon found it hard to keep her feet from tapping no matter where she was- including under her desk at school! To date, her biggest achievements are her 5 World Medals and her 5 Connacht titles as well as placing 2nd in the Irish Nationals!
While she loves the competitive side to Irish Dancing, it was always her dream and aim to be a part of a show someday. She is fortunate enough to be a cast member in the amazing Irish music and Dance show Trad on the Prom, spending each summer in Galway entertaining audiences from all around the globe.
